Jo Jones
Jo Jones is the head coach and founder of Joyful Swim Coaching. With over 20 years of open water swimming experience she has seen open water swimming evolve from a hobby/pasttime for eccentrics, endurance athletes, and explorers to something more mainstream, and the joy the brings so many people deserves to be shared. She has several channel and endurance swim accomplishments under her goggles, has previously been GB Champion in Ice Swimming and represented Team GB at the 2023 IISA World Championships.
She has been a swimming teacher for over half her life, starting whilst as part of a swimming club and the passion for excellence has never left her.
When not in the water she can be found enjoying time with her family, normally outdoors, or playing board games should the opportunity arise.
